1. Overview
This Privacy Policy describes how ZA Ventures LLC DBA Flash Installers (“Flash Installers,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses personal information through flashinstallers.com, our quote surveys, and related communications.
Flash Installers connects people seeking EV charger installation with independent installation professionals. When you request a quote, we share relevant contact and project details with installers so they can respond. Installers may pay us for these introductions or leads. We do not perform the installation ourselves.
2. Information we collect
- Contact information: your name, email address, phone number, and information you provide when contacting us.
- Installation and qualification details: ZIP code or installation address, homeownership, property type, vehicle make, charger ownership, installation location, desired timing, preferred inspection date, and other project details you choose to submit.
- Request and communication records: submitted responses, correspondence, phone verification information, consent choices, and records of follow-up and opt-out requests.
- Technical information: our website, hosting, and embedded-form providers may collect IP address, browser and device information, visited pages, referring sources, timestamps, and cookies or similar identifiers.
Fields vary by survey. Please do not submit Social Security numbers, payment-card details, passwords, or other sensitive information through a quote request.
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- Receive and assess your installation request and identify professionals serving your area.
- Share your request with relevant installers and help coordinate quote discussions.
- Verify contact details, respond to questions, and provide request or appointment updates.
- Send marketing communications when you have provided any consent required by law.
- Operate, troubleshoot, secure, and improve the website and request process.
- Maintain records, prevent misuse, resolve disputes, and satisfy legal obligations.
4. Who receives information
Installation professionals. We may disclose your name, phone number, email, location, and project or qualification details to one or more relevant independent installers for the purpose of responding to your request. We may receive payment for providing a lead, regardless of whether an installation is ultimately purchased. Do not submit a request if you do not want relevant installers to receive these details.
Service providers. Providers helping us host the website, operate surveys and customer-management systems, verify phone numbers, deliver communications, or maintain security may process information for these services. Our embedded survey uses GoHighLevel / LeadConnector technology.
Legal and business circumstances. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, investigate misuse, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or transfer of our business, subject to applicable law.
Independent installers are responsible for their own handling of information once they receive it. Ask the installer for its privacy policy and contact it directly regarding its use of your information. Disclosure of your phone number for a quote does not, by itself, grant an installer permission to send unrelated marketing texts.
5. Calls, email, and text messages
We and the professionals receiving your request may contact you about your installation inquiry using the contact methods you provide, subject to your choices and applicable law. This policy does not itself create consent to automated calls, marketing calls, or text messages. Any required consent is requested separately.
If you separately opt in to Flash Installers text messages, messages may include request updates, appointment coordination or reminders, customer support, and, only if separately authorized, promotional messages. Frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to marketing texts is not a condition of purchasing goods or services.
Reply STOP to a Flash Installers text to stop further texts, or HELP for assistance. You may also request withdrawal of consent by emailing [email protected] or calling (832) 224-5154. We honor valid revocation requests as required by law. A final opt-out confirmation may be sent.
We do not sell or share Flash Installers SMS opt-in records or consent with third parties for their independent marketing campaigns. Providers delivering messages on our behalf may access these records as necessary. This is separate from sharing contact and project details with installers to respond to the quote you requested.
You may unsubscribe from promotional emails using the unsubscribe option where provided or by contacting us. Essential responses to your request and legally required notices may still be sent. To stop communications from an independent installer, contact that installer directly.
6. Cookies and embedded services
The website and embedded survey may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to operate the form, retain session settings, provide security, and measure usage where enabled. Third-party embedded services may collect technical information when they load or when you interact with them.
You can manage cookies through your browser and any consent controls presented by the website or survey. Blocking cookies may affect form functionality. If analytics or advertising technologies are enabled, any consent or opt-out required by applicable law must be respected. An embedded provider’s own policy describes its independent processing.
7. Retention and security
We keep personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to handle your request, maintain business and consent records, resolve disputes, and comply with applicable law. Retention depends on the information, its purpose, and relevant recordkeeping requirements. We may retain limited suppression information to respect an opt-out.
We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect information. No website, transmission, or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Information may be processed in the United States or other locations used by our providers.
8. Your privacy choices and rights
You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, or to ask us to stop further disclosure of your request to installers. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests. A request does not automatically remove information already held by independent installers; their separate obligations still apply.
Depending on your location and whether a privacy law applies to our business, you may have additional rights to obtain a copy of information, opt out of its sale, sharing, or targeted advertising, authorize an agent to act for you, and appeal a denied request. We will handle applicable requests within the legally required period and will not discriminate against you for exercising protected rights.
Paid leads and “sale” definitions. Providing a quote lead to an installer for payment may constitute a sale of personal information under certain state laws. We do not claim that this paid lead-sharing activity can never be a sale. Where applicable, you may opt out of further sale or sharing by contacting us using the methods below. An opt-out may limit our ability to connect you with installers.
Privacy requests / Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information: email [email protected] with the subject “Privacy request,” or call (832) 224-5154. Tell us the request you wish to make and the contact details used in your inquiry. Do not send sensitive identification documents unless we request a secure verification method.
If we deny a request and you have a statutory right to appeal, email us with the subject “Privacy appeal.” We will explain our decision and any further rights available under applicable law.
9. Age requirement
Our service is intended for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.
10. Changes and contact information
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The updated policy will show a revised date. Where legally required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before applying material changes.
